Labor Day

The busy summer is over and today's a lull before the busy fall begins.  The kid start school tomorrow, so I will pick up the little girl in the afternoon.  The biggest boy starts high school.  Where does the time go?

A snowless winter was followed by the hottest, driest summer ever in our part of the world.  Great for swimming, not so much for the garden.  Still, I have some sunflowers cheering up the backyard and it was a super year for sweet tomatoes.

I am feeling more like getting back into blogging, so there should be more posts here in the future. Enjoy the rest of the holiday.
